International Women's Day 2022
His name may be 'above the door' but Phil Booth would be the first to admit that the business has evolved in the last 7 years, not least because he surrounds himself with competent women. So as a nod to International Women's Day 2022, here's a snapshot of the virtual team that makes Philip Booth Esq Estate Agents the success story that it is today.
Zoë Thomas - our incredibly organised and efficient office manager, the one that keeps the proverbial 'home fires burning', ensures we are compliant with all sorts of Government regulations, and is the glue that holds the team together.
Bridget Hancock - Bridget started her relationship with Philip Booth Esq as a customer when she and her husband Ian asked us to sell their home in Middle Assendon. They enjoyed their experience with us so much that she wanted to come and work with us. We have enthusiastically welcomed her into the team in a flexible Sales role, and she will be spending more time with us moving forward, as the business grows.
Miriam Sheridan Property Photography - Miriam, her sister Joanna and her apprentice Gemma are responsible for the absolutely world-class photography that we provide to our customers, within our fee. She's won a number of awards for property photography, and many of our clients have been completely thrilled with her work.
Laura Manning is our expert EPC and Floorplan consultant. With her help, we provide the multi-coloured floorplans that make it easier to understand the scale and flow of a home, and she assesses the energy performance for us.
Chiltern House Business Centre - this is our HQ on Station Road in Henley, and these ladies - Pauline and Kim (among others, not shown) - ensure not only first-rate call handling but that our guests have an excellent experience when they visit us for a meeting.
Natasha Seamons and Rhiannon Nolan from Splendid Leads Marketing - Natasha, her husband Matt and Rhiannon are the marketing team responsible for our outstanding print marketing (you will have received some of our flyers and brochures), see our new-look ads in the local newspaper, perhaps spotted the poster at the Railway Station and our digital assets. And Rhiannon designed our distinctive (and since emulated) PB branding seven years ago.
Local solicitors, especially Ruth McKenzie and her team from Mercers, Alexa McQueen Turner, Charlotte Ridgway from FSP and Denise Stradling from THP Solicitors are all a regular part of our day-to-day - collaborating with us to get our house sales across the line for buyers and vendors.
Emma Vanstone-Booth - Phil's wife, long before she became an Associate Director of the business. Emma was juggling single motherhood and a busy career in hi-tech when she met Phil. Fast forward 10 years and she could never have imagined that Covid Lockdown would turn her into an Estate Agent! Emma supports Phil with all elements of the business. And makes a wicked Jambalaya.
And there are countless more #strongwomen who are part of our ecosystem, as vendors, buyers, agents and influencers.
