Who we are and how we conduct ourselves matters as much to us as what we do.

We always felt that we would want to treat our clients - and buyers - how we would wish to be treated. We are a team of 4 experienced senior agents, with an array of careers and life experiences between us.

We have established a solid local reputation as a trusted independent agent, built on 12 years of success and scores of positive client testimonials.

Beyond the work we put in, we are all long-standing local residents and as business owners we take our responsibility to our community very seriously. We get involved in causes that are important to the community and to us as people.

Sponsorships

We are selective with our sponsorships, choosing causes which are close to our hearts:

The Henley Women's Regatta - we are incredibly proud to be an Official Partner of this landmark world-class annual event, with women's crews joining us from around the world. It's often overshadowed by the Henley Royal Regatta, but the Henley Women's event is pure rowing passion and it's utterly joyful to be involved.

The Henley Living Advent Calendar - each year we are a headline sponsor and also sponsor an evening at this popular Christmas-themed charitable event running every night throughout December to Christmas Eve.

Henley Rotary Club - for the last few years we have sponsored a musical fundraising event, with local charities and schools benefitting directly from that.

Memberships and roles

Phil is a Trustee of 2 charitable trusts which work to improve the lives of youngsters around our town: The Henley Community Hub, and the Thamesfield Youth Association.

Emma is a Director of the Henley Business Partnership, which over the years has evolved into a valuable and supportive community of local businesses, local government and charities.

George is Chairman of the Shiplake Tennis Club.

Our eco credentials

Philip Booth Esq is an active member of Greener Henley, regularly participating in thought leadership, community action and supporting our town through the Climate Emergency.

Beyond our basic ethos of being conscientious in our travel, and paper-free, the company sponsors the planting of 5 trees per employee per month through a subscription to Ecologi.com. You can see the progress of our carbon offset investment by clicking here: https://ecologi.com/philipboothesq

Our behaviour

Why do people trust us? We'd rather speak an uncomfortable truth than flatter to deceive. Our valuations tend to be accurate rather than flattering - which sometimes works against us.

We will never recommend a supplier to our clients or buyers, with any expectation of a kick-back or referral fee. If we recommend a removals firm, a solicitor, a roofing expert, a mortgage broker, a surveyor - it's because we've used them before and we know they deliver a reliable service.

We will also never 'tout' for business. Once you launch a property, it's common for many other agents to send automatic letters trying to chase that business. It's not a clever selling tactic nor personal correspondence - it's an automated direct mail system which churns out these letters in an effort to poach business from other agents. We believe that vendors invest time and energy in their selection of a selling agent, and if we don't get chosen, we respect that decision. And if in time they decide to change agents, it won't be because we're harassing them for the business. We're a local agent. If vendors want to work with us, they know who we are and where to find us.
